Whether you’re right next to your vehicle or miles away, the myVW mobile app enables access to control and monitor the most important features of your model-year 2020 or newer VW.
If your vehicle is a 2019 model or older, the myVW app isn't available yet. We're working to make it accessible, so stay tuned for updates.
Vehicle control and convenience
Drivers can remotely start their engine (if their vehicle is equipped with remote start), lock or unlock their doors, and honk and flash their vehicle's lights. With these features, owners have greater control and convenience over their vehicle's functions.
Steps for installing the myVW app
Download the free myVW app for your smartphone. Depending on your operating system, you will find its available for Android or iOS in the Google Play Store or App Store.
Log in to the myVW app with your Volkswagen ID. If you have yet to set up a Volkswagen ID, the app will take you step by step through the registration process.
To complete the activation process, follow the instructions shown in the app. Enjoy your selection of services and put your digital day-to-day in the fast lane.

Download the Electrify America mobile app
The Electrify America app lets you easily find and use charging stations for your EV. You can start and stop your charging session, track your charging status, and pay contact-free from your phone. The app also offers real-time charger locations, availability, and the option to save your preferred stations.
