Benefits come standard with every Certified Pre-Owned Volkswagen
You’ve got a lot of road to travel, and we want to help keep you feeling confident from one mile to the next. This is why every Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) VW is covered by a Certified Pre-Owned Limited Warranty. Depending on your CPO vehicle model and model year, and when you purchase your CPO vehicle, the warranty may have different time and mileage parameters. The warranty period begins when the New Vehicle Limited Warranty expires or on the purchase date of the CPO Volkswagen vehicle, whichever is later.
Volkswagen Certified Pre-Owned Limited Warranty Coverage
Purchased ON or AFTER April 1, 2026
Certified Pre-Owned Limited Warranty coverage is an additional 2 years or 24,000 miles (whichever occurs first) beginning at the expiration of the 4 years or 50,000 miles (whichever occurs first) New Vehicle Limited Warranty, or from the CPO sale date if the New Vehicle Limited Warranty has expired at the time of sale for MY20 and newer CPO vehicles purchased on or after April 1, 2026 only. Repairs covered by this limited warranty will be performed at no additional charge after a deductible of $50 per dealer visit. High-Voltage Battery Limited Warranty
Electric vehicles have a high-voltage battery warranty for 8 years or 100,000 miles, whichever occurs first, for defects in material and workmanship and for a capacity of at least 70%. The battery net capacity coverage includes any repairs needed to return battery net capacity to a level of 70%. Coverage may not return the high-voltage battery to an “as new” condition with 100% net capacity. See owner’s literature or dealer for warranty exclusions and limitations.
Purchased BEFORE April 1, 2026

Repairs covered by this limited warranty will be performed at no additional charge after a deductible of $50 per dealer visit. Model Year 20191 year or 12,000 miles (whichever occurs first) Certified Pre-Owned Limited Warranty for MY19 CPO gasoline vehicles only. Repairs covered by this limited warranty will be performed at no additional charge after a deductible of $50 per dealer visit. 1 year or 12,000 miles (whichever occurs first) Certified Pre-Owned Limited Warranty for MY19 CPO gasoline vehicles only.
